Fishing

   Fishing is a great family outing. I do not know a better way to bring a family closer together. This is a  great way for parents to become a child again with their children.

   There is no greater character builder than going fishing with you children or grand children. Actually, it would be best if you don't even put your line in the water. Most of the time you will be casting their lines or untangling their lines or appologizing to the person fishing next to you because your kids crossed their line while casting. You will spend a lot of time putting bait on the childrens line or taking a fish off their hook if they actually left the line in the water long enough for a fish to see it.

   Even with this being one of the most flustrating times in you life, they are the most memorable and rewarding times in your and the kids life. Hopefully your have taught them patients and they pass this along to their children.

   I also use fishing as a tranquilizer. Whenever I start getting flustered with everything, just plan life starts getting me down, I go fishing. Sometimes by myself and other times with a friend. It is just peaceful and quiet on the lake and we don't have to talk much just enjoy being out in the open and enjoying the beauty all around.
